We are actively working to support our initiatives in both Napa and Nashville. In Nashville, we have contributed proceeds to a variety of impactful programs, including The Grammy Foundation, Dan Mills Elementary, Nashville School of the Arts, Margaret Allen Middle School, and the Metro Nashville School District.
In Napa, we have partnered with The Music Connection, a district-wide organization focused on providing instruments to elementary school music programs. Additionally, we have collaborated directly with Browns Valley Elementary School, Vintage High School, and River School to supply equipment and instruments.
In 2022, we launched a partnership with the Napa Valley Youth Symphony to establish the NOTES program, designed to help beginning symphony students develop their skills and progress toward full membership in the Napa Youth Symphony.
Our Story
NOTES for EDUCATION™ is an established non-profit organization, having raised over $1.5 million for music education thanks to our dedicated partners. Founded by Nashville music professionals and Napa Valley Wine Industry professionals, our vision was to host yearly events combining distinguished songwriters with skilled winemakers, with proceeds going to music education programs fostering the next generation of artists in our respective communities.
NOTES grants funding to organizations that align with our mission supporting specific programs within the school districts of Napa and Nashville as well directly supporting the teachers that are providing this essential education to our children. The central tenet of our mission is the belief that educators know best what it is they need to better incorporate music programs into their curriculums. Notes makes every effort to work directly with the music teachers to identify the areas in which funds will be most beneficial. As such, we can be confident that the money we donate will be used in an efficient manner, allowing teachers to effectively carry out their plans, and more importantly, make a tangible difference in the lives of students.
The Board members of NOTES are accomplished professionals in the industries of Music, Arts and Winemaking and our organization is run by a group of hardworking professionals who share the same vision and mission. All the proceeds are funneled back into schools in Napa, CA and Nashville, TN.
